day(s) of brynne.

miss brynne had a birthday!! both were celebrated at the tulip festival.

we love brynne.

it was a beautiful day and everything looked so fab that we had to take millions of pics.

couldn't stop the boyfriend poses the whole day. love her so much.

also, our special girl graduated this week! i personally love this photo, i think it shows how a graduate feels on the inside. excited but a little nervous.. all at the same time.
(not that i would know..i should have graduated in the fall of 2008 but thanks to serving the Lord and getting back a bit late to go to school, i will be a forever student.)

no real reason for this, just really liked it.

jambas on lin!

we all knew this had to happen. for the record,
D graduated as well, i would post pictures but i have none.

happy 23 b.
glad you aren't married yet so i can still experience all your special days with you.
thanks for holding out. loves.

april 14, 1987

yes. yes i am. last wednesday i turned the big 2-3.
(that would be grandpa who turned 87 on the 8th - the blurred man, not the monkey)

it was a really great day to say the least. i didn't have any expectations
and that might just be why i loved it so much.

then i slept over at their house and woke up to this.

around 8:30 we went to magleby's for breakfast, got ready, then headed over to byu to look for my scriptures. bless the soul who took them to the lost and found.
i had to fill out a slip about the item lost. i put "priceless" for the value and i think the office girl hated it.

she loved this.

after lost and found time we went to the temple and it was quite the adventure. i'm retarded and forgot my renewed recommend thinking my old one would still work since it was still april haha..don't ever do that. but the nice old people let us sit in the lobby while they worked things out and we had a great time people watching. we even saw eve of the future! neither one of us had done sealings before so we did that and i loved it so much! except for the part when i had to kneel across the alter with a complete stranger. that was a bit stressful so i avoided eye contact and reminded myself of the service i was rendering. speaking of, i did some work for "mary", "mother", and "harriet beecher stowe" i think Heavenly Father knew it was my birthday!

after that we hit up panda express. it was a happy moment when i looked up at these signs and could not only read the english but the chinese at the top! thank you mission.

for about an hour or so i met up with my old companion sister cydne baird (evans) for some frozen yogurt. we got to live our dream of riding a moped and i even kept my skirt on for old times sake. my favorite part of this picture is the five shades my skin is sporting. mish still hasn't worn off my body apparently.

cyd had to go to a meeting at the mtc and was already a bit late so i volunteered to walk to ashlie's. i'm grateful for the weather being so wonderful and even more so for this man behind me.
..aaaand for ashlie picking me up about two blocks into it.

that night ryan took me to La Caille.. and from the picture you can probably tell how beautiful it was.
thanks self timer! you always pull through.

i was so jealous of this man when he got an "anniversary surprise" (which is what he called it) and i hoped with all my heart that ryan told them it was my birthday so i could have one too.

luckily ry guy pulled through! this and that voss million dollar artesian water from norway were definitely the highlight of my evening.

after dinner and a little moonlight dance fest in the woods, we drove back down to provo and ryan gave me a private (but not really private i guess) show in this underground parking garage.

i thought all the fun was over but as we walked in the door this was all happening. ashlie had decorated and put out all the things necessary for a movie night slash hand puppet making (love her for that). i was so touched with how much work and time both of them put into making it a nice day and i think i can say it was the best birthday i've ever had. thanks to everyone else who sent nice text messages or fb posts, it was appreciated.  i'm not obsessed with the idea of being 23 but how could i not welcome the change after such a lovely day? so 23, welcome. but 24, i'd rather you never happen so..dont.

aaaand i'm sorry if i sounded like a narcissist in this post and/or like i just won an academy award and was thanking all the people who got me to that point. it won't happen again.

day of fools.

so ryan and i thought it would be funny to say we were engaged on april fool's day.
all of the facebook world did not appreciate that because..well..it was false. sorry everybody.
(but, if we were engaged this is how it would look probably. happy creepy)
but let me tell you what happened that day that is not a joke.
thanks to ksl.com i bought a great canon rebel from this big galoot. i never knew that is how you spell that word. anyway, because of his ginormous hands, he could no longer handle using this baby, so its now mine. thanks big rob. love you forever.

this is also not a joke. elder brian beckstead returned that night from his mish and as i had flashbacks of me returning two months prior, i felt sick and had the urge to throw up a little.

well. so i dont really blog. but i'm going to stop saying that. i think the 6 people who read this already know. so no more apologies. even though it will be random, i will blog here and there and it will usually be pointless but i feel good about it. i also feel good about this new layout..so sick of that red guy.
thanks 6 friends for reading. appreciate you.

one month ago..

..i was doing this. and since i'm looking at these photos anyways i figured i might as well make my first post-mission post..if you will. i think you will.
so approximately one month and two days ago i locked my bike up for the last time. sadly, this was one of the harder moments for me.

this moment however, was not. such a nasty bag. not even sad to get rid of that guy.

approximately 3 am..last presidents letter slash weekly chat. sad.

my companion, sister tong, just being so nice and staying up with me and reading Jesus the Christ. haha. love her.

next morning. just trying to eat everything i bought while packing and writing in new members scriptures. it was a bit of a crazy morning.

also had to make the cupcakes that wendy bird sent to me. thanks wendy..they look a little burned but trust me. they were delicious.

i thought i would throw this in here just for kicks. trying my best to not look like how i've looked the past 18 months. didnt really work though.

this would be the last time i checked the mail..and the
face that happened everyday when doing so.

found this while creeping president's photo albs at the parting devotional. who doesnt love this man? of course he is a juggling wonder.

after the devotional i went into the mission home to find that english class creeper had really pulled through for me and bought me all these gifts! best creeper ever.

i regifted it to sister hoer for all her efforts that night and she was pretty excited about it.

this is out of order but i dont know how to fix it. this would be driving to the airport..i heart taiwan.

driving to the temp. so sad to leave my taiwanese bf sister wang. really. so sad.

bye taipei temple. i love you. and taiwanese missionaries. my favorite part is how us americans got on the bus and they just..walked home. haha.

this would be what we term a "larry"..dont actually know why they were taking photos outside of the temple in scandal clothes but they liked it. as you can see, my creeping skills havent changed much.

next on our agenda was visiting the 101 which used to be the tallest building in the world until a few months ago. i really enjoy this photo..i dont feel like i have to explain either.

dont worry that we stared at pictures like this for a good 15 minutes. so entertaining.

haha. sorry ry guy.

we tried to go to the top but it was just windy and foggy so we couldnt actually see anything. but i'm sure it was a good $15 well spent somehow.

kinda awkward that it was just five sisters and the assistants but it was nice to have them there to take pictures for us.

..this one for example. thanks guys.

this was a happy moment. we had about five minutes before we needed to board the bus so i contacted two ladies and they were from japan. dont really know how to refer them but i felt good about it.

i really do.

so here we are. plane ride time. i loved watching this screen and kept it on the whole time.

thanks to wendy again for these classy socks. sister dunn and i wore them on our plane ride there and then on the plane ride back. best part = we didnt even plan it.

i also frequented this channel. i wish you could know the stress that was felt during these last 12 minutes.

this happened in california when they tried to get me to pay a million dollars to recheck my bags. stupid delta. nobody likes you. dont worry though..i got around it.

thanks to heavenly father i was distracted by the view so i didnt think too much about this..

(stay tuned for this next part. computer is bein a real idiot.)
