after getting in from black friday nonsense around 6am i slept on kim's couch until probably 11:30 (whoops!) and then continued to stay on that couch probably most of the day because why would i ever need to move when sweetest stella was on my lap? (or when she was sitting by her mom and smiling at me while kim was practicing "bring a torch, jeanette isabella" for church. it was delightful)
when i finally decided to get dressed for the day i walked in to find these guys playing together. they are the cutest little brothers.
we noticed korby was in a bit of a funk so we decided to play his favorite uno attack and that perked the boy right up! he even pretended to be a dog which you know means he was back on his game. just in case it was an act we decided to give him a little more tlc and took him on a date to mcdonalds since the other kids were at a basketball game. i was thrilled when kim didn't make him change but rather let him stay in his christmas pajamas, those types are the best paired with skinny baby legs.
we went to mcdonalds and i thoroughly enjoyed korby, kim, and stella's company. korbin is perhaps the cutest and funniest little guy and spending time with kim is always the best. these are the type of ordinary moments that make my heart ache for home when i'm in boston. i cherish the simple moments i get to spend with my family and moments like these definitely help me kit ("keep it together" as my sister becky says) until i visit again.
korby is crazy and so many good times were had at the play place that night.
our fun didn't stop there, we then visited my best friend since elementary, emily. she has the cutest two kids - one of which was way ticked with korbin playing with his toys as you can see above. i ended up being an awesome friend and fell asleep while kim and emily talked but i did enjoy being awake long enough to take this picture. being so lazy all day really tired me out i guess! i really loved this day.
