seattle: sister fest part 2

sunday was so lovely! full of church, wonderful food, quality time
spent together and graduation celebrations!

oh, and naps
(bet you didn't even know this happened did you beck?)

nat made a little homemade olive garden for dinner.
so much butter. so much cream.
so much delicious. ness.

she also decorated her house to make it feel like a real
celebration.

and for the crowning moment:

the brownie cake
(she was so thoughtful to remember i don't like cake but
she (and my mom) still figured out a way to make it a masterpiece)

and the "wolverine" on the top was just the right touch!
doesn't it look awesome? i'm still obsessed with it.

look at that sweet tassel my mom made!
she had the time of her life doing it as you can see.

it was all so nice!
i walked down the "aisle", they all said really nice things about me,
and i got great gifts like a cotton candy maker!
i have the best family ever.
honestly, way better than the real commencement i'm sure.

 oh yeah!
and we also took some photos to remember the one
time we got to see each other in a decade
(crossing our fingers that it can happen again this summer!)

this would be when my mom was posing
ridiculously. wish we had a picture of that.

i have the BEST sisters.
luckiest baby of the family ever!

this means what number we are if you didn't figure it out.

and to end a nice post i will post a photo of really nice parents.
they are the cutest.

seattle: i forgot the trip started thursday..

just remembered we got there on thursday and not friday so i will blog about that.
hey-o!

first off, let's just remember how mad i was to go to work the day before i left and it was snowing and i had to wear a coat (yes. i always go to work looking that dreamy at 6am)

anyways. this was taken on my way up to the airport.
not sad to leave a state that has dirt clouds.

that is much better!

as soon as we arrived we went to the
shops in downtown sumner. they are all so great!
i want that pasta.

for all you cupcake lovers.

we laughed for days about this!

their antique/second hand stores are my favorite

it really worked! i should put up the video of how thrilled we were.

do you even have to ask? of course i bought it.
i'll just keep it in my pocket and hold it up to the sun whenever i feel sad.

i still regret that i didn't buy this notebook.
hahahha

that night we went to the girl's elementary school
for ARTrageous!

we walked around and saw the girls accomplishemnts

i don't know these kids but i LOVED them

and listened to kenzie sing in the choir!
(she is the cutie in the front with glasses)

and since they are remodeling the school they let the kids graffiti the walls.
best school ever!

i loved this.

then we went home and played in the yard

cuties

and cardston showed me his boots,
(there is more to come on that later)

the first day was a success!
(now i will really blog about sunday and monday)

seattle: sisters fest!

so like i said i got to be with all of my sisters (and parents) for the first time in ten years!

happiest few days ever.

before we picked becky up from the airport we decided to
do a session at the seattle temple.
it was such a pretty day!

tricia and i were so happy to be reunited!

Hey there is becky!
we decided to go to this little ma and pa diner for lunch and it was delicious

(so happy they let me go into salvation army for a few minutes!
thrifted gems for half off  = the besttt)

after changing we headed down to downtown seattle for a little tofw!

dad was so (??) to be there too!
(don't actually know what that expression means but i like it)

ps. this photo is funny to me.
dad is just being a head above the rest!

i was obsessed with this lady!

and this guy.

dream fulfilled = sitting with all my sisters listening to michael mclean live.
i never knew when i was little and they were listening to their tapes of his music
or we would watch his video that this day could ever happen!
i love my 80's mormon celebs. so much.

day one of tofw was real nice! not pictured would be john bytheway,
who also spoke and did a fine job.

getting ready to leave for day two!

becky loved it so much she decided to match the color scheme

complimentary bags!

and babies!

so so so many green and purple bags

sack luuuunch

oh just outside the window, bein so nice and seattley
(little did i know this was the last day i would see the sun for a good two weeks)

i'm not the hugest fan of this mercy river mormon singing group
but i laughed real good when they sang dora the explorer and
made up their own words to nsync's "bye bye bye" to
describe the happenings of putting kids to bed.

i really do have a special place in my heart for good, clean, mormon humor.

the speakers on saturday were so good too!
i was pretty skeptical about the whole tofw thing and thought
it would just be efy for adult women (and dad) but
i really enjoyed it.

(you gals should go with your sisters! it was a delightful time)

(outside my window on the way back home. isn't seattle so pretty?)

after tofw we went to outback and then came home and i made
one of the many batches of scotcheroos that occurred that weekend.
have you had them? they are my fave.

anyway.

as a special treat for my sisters i thought i would add this..

i like to call this willow tree set that i put together myself saw at the mall
"sister wives"

whoops that it is 3 am!
i'll blog about the sunday and monday part of sister trip soon.
