st. george/tuacahn

two weeks ago we decided to spend a day in st. george before we headed to california.
first stop was going to be the temple but it was closed for cleaning..we really need to start looking that up beforehand from now on! that was a bummer.
buuut it allowed us more time to spend with my 8th grade bff shealee!
(who i had not seen since my farewell)

it was so fun to catch up with her and so nice of them to let us stay the night!

we also enjoyed meeting her dogs
(even me. my hatred for dogs is going away i think!)

maybe "enjoyed" is an understatement for ry guy

we also enjoyed meeting her husband.
aaaaand taking this precious photo.

after some good quality time with them and filling our bodies with some texas roadhouse (does anyone else love that place as much as i do? those rolls!) we headed to the little mermaid at tuacahn! and we were there as quick as a flash because shealee lives five minutes away! except for the whole temple part, nothing could have been more perfect about this day.

from the looks of this photo we've never been happier!
(is that because a stranger actually took a decent photo or because of the little mermaid? ..probably both)

i never knew they had soooo much ariel stuff

and who can blame that little tot, i'd be ticked too if they made me be prince eric!

just me and creepy skirt ariel.

since we couldn't take pictures during the show this is the only one i have and doesn't do it justice at allll.

even though we sweat profusely it was maybe the happiest time of our lives!
i will never stop loving ryan for taking me to see it and i highly recommend it to one and all.

it really was so magical.

and i've never been to tuacahn before so i couldn't stop taking pictures of it

or all the people in the show. i get way more satisfaction out of taking pictures of other people taking pictures with the cast members than actually getting in a photo myself.

way obsessed with sebastian. way grossed out by king triton.

and i couldn't stop being amazed at how they got adele to be ursula!!!?!?

and to end the night ryan was able to see all his YA friends. famous!

anyway.
the little mermaid rocked my world so hard and i would go watch it again and again and again if that wouldn't cost a million dollars. and i would give you a play by play of every magical thing that happened but i don't want to ruin it in case you go. thank you ryan and tuacahn for such a great night!
and thank you to all the cast members that made heelys seem cool again.

Texas Roadhouse rolls -- mmmmmm!!!

King Triton's pants. ha!

Who knew Ariel was hiding such a romantic moment under her skirt? ...okay that sentence came out dirtier than I intended it to be.

You are so beautiful! I love how you do your hair.
