seattle: one time i went to an asian store

i have a feeling this is going to be a disappointing post for most of you but this was one of the best moments of my seattle trip!
we went to china town and perused the huge asian market they have.
my sweet dad said we could get anything i wanted so i went on a hunt for all the great things i would eat in taiwan.
find #1: asian ramen! i'd eat this with my last companion all the time and the flavors are just so different. miso flavored is the best
(ps so glad someone told me it was miso, i thought it didn't have a translation and i was so sad i would never find my favorite flavor again. little did i know it was miso the whole time! not hard to find at all!)

these advanced otter pops. you could snap them in half and eat them while planning at night! or in the morning..really they were great any time of day.

asian drinks! gotta love all that tea haha

the yellow box would be these crazy wannabe caramels that were cheap so we would by them for little kids. not really excited to eat them, but i did feel excited they were there.
(and hi-chews! weird that america sells them at 7-11 now)

definitely bought these chopsticks

bread dongxi!
they love their crazy bread with stuff in the middle.
(and so do i)

love this man and everything else about this picture

a real bento box haha
(they just love eating such gross things!)

seaweed, rice, and meat -
who could ask for anything more?

LOVED these gals. so tiny!
i forgot how tiny my people are.

it wouldn't be an asian store without some good ol' idol worship.
gooooo buddha/pusa!

so..i ended up coming home with all these gems!
it felt like christmas.

really..who knew those characters meant miso?

and this would be the thing i was most excited about.
some zhua bing, which i really don't know how to say in english.
i think it says onion pancakes on the package but that makes no sense.
they are delicious though,
you should hit up the asian store near you and get some.

see? told you that was disappointing
..but i think at least sister wang will like it.
