halloween weekend: these things happened.

i'm sorry in advance for the collage overload
..i just wanted to give the illusion that i'm posting less pictures.

anyway.
halloween weekend was so nice!
friday afternoon we went to a new mongolian restaurant in provo called e cafe (right by the outback on university parkway..sorry i couldn't find a link for it) that ryan was dying to try out.
two things.
1. it wasn't even gross!
2. those fortunes above are definitely not fortunes.
we then drove to spanish fork to see nephew's game.
i just realized i was going to upload some photos from my camera of the game too but forgot and am now in provo..and my computer is in salt lake..sooo i will just have to add those later. whoops. anyway it was a great game! the weather was gorgeous and they won! and i was so happy my little pumpkin came and loved her so much as you can see.

yes to football, hot chocolate, sister, boyfriend, and cute pumpkin!
and i really did watch some of the game. promise.

earlier that day i was looking up halloween festivities and saw that there was some free "halloween lair"  just two miles away from the game afterwards we checked it out.

free halloween lair = best ten minutes of our lives.

afterwards we drove back up to salt lake and i feel uncomfortable saying this watched new moon.
perhaps this is unnecessary but i feel the need to explain.
so thursday night we watched twilight with some friends because a. it seemed like an appropriate halloween thing to do and b. none of us would ever watch it otherwise and c. none of us had ever read the books or seen any of the movies so we were looking forward to a good laugh.

well. we did laugh and i did hate their awful acting but i just needed to know what happened next! hence us showing up at blockbuster at 10 o'clock at night to rent the second one.

saturday afternoon was thriller time! i had heard mixed reviews so i was a little nervous but we were big big fans. seriously such a great thing to see right before halloween!
and coming out of kingsbury hall was so lovely! it was such a pretty day (which wasn't expected considering it was stormy earlier and october 29th) and the university of utah's campus in the fall is the best.
we wanted to take advantage of the nice weather so at dinner when given the option of eating inside or outside we definitely chose outside. the food, music, and fire were perfect for a fall evening.
it was our first time eating at sugarhouse bbq but i have a feeling it won't be our last! we loved it.

i realllly wanted to go walk around gardner village because i never had around this time of year so we went there after dinner. as a side note can i just say i love that ryan will do things like that with me and he doesn't even hate it? he was enjoying looking at all the shops and witches just as much (maybe almost as much would be more accurate) as i was and i just really like that about him.
i love gardner village for being so festive!
we loved it.

the night was still young so i guess this happened again.
gosh i'm embarrassed about that.
..buuut if you are wondering,
the third one was better than the first two.

aaaand if you missed my previous posts,
sunday was filled with family time and looking so sick
monday/halloween was kept pretty low key with a pretend hike and a reunion.
and this post still makes me laugh way hard.

halloween slash october,
you were very successful this year! way to be.
