the fourth! part 2.

so, to continue on from the previous post, we headed over to utah lake to meet up with the margetts fam. it was a great time but started getting super super choppy. i thoroughly enjoyed it until it caused me to fall over and ryan and he kneed me in the chest but that is a minor detail. anyway, the water just resulted in this :

so we decided to just leave and head over to deer creek.

it was a pretty drive and definitely worth it!
deer creek is gorgeous right now and the water is blue and it wasn't choppy and it wasn't crowded and really everything about it was better.

gotta have the generation photo

after being on the boat forever, doing things like this seem like a good time.

it was a nice time had by all.
afterwards we drove up to salt lake and had some frozen yogurt with my parents.
my favorite part of this story is that they were actually closed. this made my father rather upset considering he had stopped by earlier and asked what time they closed and they said 11 and it was about 9 pm. so my dad stood there until they opened the door and blam.

it turns out they were still open for a minute.

so we sat and chatted with them outside while watching fireworks go off everywhere
(yes to them being legal now!)

then after than fun minute we headed back to the margetts for a bbq and a huge firework show promised by russ.
or so he thought.
i guess the fireworks ended up just being the regular baby ones and not the big ones like he thought. but even still, just watching russ light them and feel ticked the entire time created a great time for all. much more entertaining than the used-to-be-illegal fireworks for surrrrre.

what is the fourth without sparkler cupcakes?!

and of course the classic sparkler pictures.

and the head-light flash light pictures that seem to work just as well.

and that is it for the fourth.
we crammed a lot of stuff in that little holiday but you have to!
the end.

One of my favorite parts about this is when you wrote "blam" -- haha. :)

What a fun day!! Tyler's wife's hair is SO CUTE! I love that short, spikey look.

I love the 4th. And what makes it even better is that you pretty much only took pictures of babies.
But that dog with Woody on it??? ha ha ha ha.
Also I love that you guys still got your Frogurt. Take that, corporate America. God Bless the USA.
P.S. I would like your waves in my hair, please.
