july 1st : boating #3

after working at the mtc friday morning morning we got all changed and ready to go out on the boat!

(so glad that jacquie always looks like a dream and i look like a grandma)

and while walking inside i noticed this beauty and many others growing outside of my house! so pretty.

anyway.

jacquie loved wake boarding!

ryan also invited some of his young ambassador friends. they made me feel like i was on a disney show. you know, the token black girl with the blonde and brunette/read head friends? nice gals.

ryan's roommate caleb also came, it was a party!

and brian!

i finally got in the water but wore the dry suit just to be cautious about the whole fall fiasco. it was ginormous and i couldn't breathe! it was great. realized i hadn't wake boarded since the day before ryan left on his mission. nice. somehow i forgot to upload some of me actually in the water so maybe i'll do that later. they are a treaaaaaat.

at one point the rope got caught so ryan had to untangle it. it was quite the job with the wakeboard still attached to him causing his head to smack into the boat with each wave. drama.

and this part of the lake! we went on an adventure down the baby road before you enter the lake and it was a great, scenic, bumpy ride for all. maybe not the most pleasant for caleb considering he had to go to the bathroom but i liked it.
