lagoon

every year my dad pays for the whole fam to go to lagoon
(which is so sweet because there are like 50 of us)

ryan and i hadn't been to lagoon in years so we were excited to make the most of it! we got there right before it even officially opened and walked right on to wicked. it was one of our more proud moments. anyway, the first hour we went around with just mickayla and it was a great time as you can see.

when the lines got a little longer we didn't even mind! it gave us time to take this picture, send it to ryan's friend who speaks french, learn that it says "this is not a bicycle", and find out more about the artist René Magritte.

we also discovered my drawing i made when i was seven.

and what are the odds! the one i made when i was nine! as you can tell my drawing skills greatly improved in those two years.

we love love love the swings.
really though. are the swings at lagoon not the most magical thing? i will never stop being obsessed with them.
or the water fountain by the train
or this guy. recognize him anyone?
here. i'll give you a hint.
who knew joseph performed at lagoon?!

somehow we always got the best seats for all the rides
and kim got the best seat in the stroller
i love the sky ride, and so does that boy on the right.
still in love.

we even explored pioneer village for a few minutes
and nothing has ever been more funny to me.
after talking about dippin' dots every time we go to seven peaks we decided to finally get some. never really what i remember them to be but i still felt happy eating them.

it was really such a fun day with lots of rides and carbonated drinks and we even made time to watch those ridiculous shows that i secretly love so much. the only sad part of the day would be the very end when we tried to take sam on the carousel and even though there was plenty of spots for everyone the asian worker (sorry to bring nationality into this) told about half of the people to leave because we came after the ride officially closed. so we stood by it and sam and i sadly watched all the empty horses go round and round and i felt more and more angry at that little asian worker and maybe i'm still not completely over it but that is okay. it was a great day.
we heart lagoon.

Why do you bring nationality in the end of the story? It's irrelevant.
