sundays at the cabin are the best.

two weeks ago we spent the weekend at my cabin. i was just looking through the photos of it and felt it would be very sunday appropriate to share how nice cabin sunday was!

it started with driving to church

and then driving home
(normally kamden would be in a car seat but he loved church so much he stayed and came home with us instead of his parents..contrary to his facial expression he also loved our car ride home)

side note:
bnotd = we sat right behind elder holland and his wife in sunday school!
sometimes when we go to church in midway he is there and it is always nice to see him. if you go on a particularly lucky sunday he will even speak in sacrament! this sunday was one of those times and i kind of wish i had recorded it because it was so good.
finger in the photo = i was trying to take it as sneakily as possible so i couldn't actually look at what i was taking a photo of and just hoped for the best. you can't really tell it is elder holland so you will just have to trust me i guess haha

i was dying over how pretty the mountains and sky looked!

it was a gorgeous fall afternoon.

so gorgeous that we decided to go for a fall time stroll!
ryan and i bundled up korbin and kamden, got some freshly baked cookies, grabbed the camera, and headed out.

they are seriously the funniest little boys, if you haven't met them - you should.

korbin the model

 leaf fight!

can't get enough of this fence

or the boys and their boots!

they loved playing in the mud

ryan found some "cherries" (what kamden kept calling the apples) to coax them away from the mud and get them up the hill. it worked! aaaand this picture would be me holding out the apple and walking backwards to keep him walking. his little outstretched hands! haha

you can tell they are quakies by the way they look!
(please tell me you watched that youtube video i linked awhile ago)

 best road and fence!

it started getting dark and cold so we headed back.
the walk ended with kamden wearing ryan's jacket (because he refused to wear his own) and korby being too tired to walk so ryan carried him back to the cabin.

it was a very lovely time.
and if you ever want to have a nice sunday time at my cabin and experience pretty walks and sitting behind apostles in church you just let me know! we like visitors.

p.s. i just noticed this is my 200th post! funny that my 100th post was in may of this year.
guys i guess i'm officially a real blogger!

Ohhh that looks DELIGHTFUL. And apparently Elder Holland grocery shops at the Avenues Smith's on the weekends he isn't in Midway.

I think I would've just stared at Elder Holland the whole time. Even if it was just the back of his head.

Photos = gorgeous!

I love that green jacket your sportin'. So lovely.
