mona. mona. mona. ohhhh

so me, ryan, brynne, and tanner decided to take a little trip to mona, utah.

brynnie blogged some of it. i decided to blog the rest.

it began at wal-mart to pick up a few things.

we randomly all picked different things to buy and all of our purchases came within less than 75 cents of each other! it was a really exciting moment and kind of felt like we were on the price is right as everyone (i think i mean to say brynne and myself..or maybe just myself) held their breaths to see if the next person's total would come close to the person's total before them. absolutely thrilling.

after finding a spot and parking (which we didn't stay at because the people next to us kept staring at us and made everyone feel uncomfortable) we headed to the swings.

ryan was in heaven.                                            ..and brynne was a trooper

we all swung once or twice..but then the crazy people (mentioned above) showed up so we left.

brynne made some delicious j-dawgs special sauce and we roasted hot dogs.

i don't think i can say i don't like hot dogs anymore, at least not when that special sauce is concerned.

deliiiicious.

while the boys left to get more wood brynne and i sat and chatted. it was nice to have some one-on-one time with my best geef!

as night approached we put socks on and realized we both brought christmas socks!

we saw a frog!

then laid in our sleeping bags (so glad we forgot the tent!) while ryan serenaded us on the guitar.

that fun lasted for a good thirty minutes and then we all passed out with tiredness.

 i loved waking up during the night with the moon being full as ever and just being in neature. since the moon was being so bright it didn't really let me fall asleep half of the night but that is beside the point.

waking up in-between brynne and ryan = a true dream.

after cleaning up our site we headed back to the rope swing.

because of tan's accident the day before he decided to climb the rope slash rope dance instead of actually swing on it.

b - "tanner where did you learn those moves?"

t - "in class!"

the first time i went that morning i did a really good job at letting go!

the second time i thought it would be a good idea to keep holding on. i had a vision of me swinging past the tree and right back out to the water - we all know the swinging part is way funner than the letting go part right? i just thought it would be nice for it to last longer..

..it didn't really turn out quite like i imagined. sorry for stressing everyone out. i let go!

and this would be after it happened when ryan was telling me how he can't take me places anymore if i'm not going to be safe.

 haha

anyway. such a fun fun time.

so happy we get to see those two in 3 weeks!
